KiSS ON CHRiSTMAS.
Down the streets at eight,
Couples cling onto one another
Each in their own set of pea coats and boots
Girls giggling while guys whisper
Sweet nothings into their ears
With every breath I take
Puffs of warmth form before me
Green, red, and yellow shimmer
In my eyes and fill the picture
Holiday spirits settle in
Without them noticing.
I pass by all the bustling restaurants
Endless lines forming in front of the doors
Cars honk, impatient to move.
Trees wrapped in blurred lights
Stand as wallflowers
In all the business around me
I could only focus on the
Unsettling feeling within my heart
I looked towards the sky
And to my surprise,
Slowly but surely,
A single piece to snow came fluttering
Down, followed by many others
Catching the attention of all
I felt a smile form on my cold lips.
And right when I turned,
He pulled me in for one of
His mind-numbing kisses
Then he pulled back
And said,

"I love you."
