Avalanche

Inspired by Marie Digby's music video of "Avalanche."

She stands there alone, 

With her head bowed down, 

Afraid to face the world. 

As everything around her moves forward in time, 

she remains still. 

Long, pitch black hair that reaches her waist

Pale, moon-kissed skin

Large, round brown eyes,

She slowly lifts her head.

Clouds part for the light to shine through

This girl who was once frozen in time

Who once stood in between the

Crossroad of life and death,

Finally lifts her head 

And decides to take a step forward.
