Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn

A Poem by Ki
"

Inspired by the new Twilight movie/the book

"
White on white
Ice on ice
Kissing my every flaw,
My every imperfection.
Two souls, conjoined
But different.
Snow falls from your lips and into my ear
We are one
Fingertips grazing
Electricity brewing
We are breaking dawn
We come out at night
The greatest gift of darkness
We find the the blazing sun beneath an ebony curtain
We are demons
So wrong
Surrounded by beauty and illuminating radiance
A pure and innocent rose
Is nothing compared to your still, severe beauty
We are daring the sun
To take away our light
We are together at last
We are breaking dawn.

Ohhh! Good idea.
I don't even know what to say - this was an awesome piece. It really sounded like Twilight to me.
"A pure innocent rose
Is nothing compared to your still, severe beauty"
I just liked those lines. :)
It all flowed very nicely and you had good word choice. :3
