Two Tears

Two Tears

A Poem by Madeline Derujinsky

I sit here stomach in knot, swallowing shards of glass.
reject me; let me fall to pieces.
I keep saying I've let go, the more i say it
the more I hope it will convince me.
But then I think of you...
the intimate times, the family times, the you and me times
I can't stop the tears its a natural reaction.
