6 roses

6 roses

A Poem by ColorblindMartian.

One rose for memory, blasting music in our old Camry.
Your smile, lighting up with blankets of red hair.
Blazing on the 101, freedom bright in the air.

A second rose, for dreams.
I see you every night.
How I miss you, how I love you.
I dare to think you truly hear me.

A third rose to a friend.
My best one, I'm alone now.
Gifted with strength.
I roam with memories.
Warm in its lonely place.

A fourth for honesty.
Everything I know,
Was a gift From you.
A fifth, for everything you've missed.
 New girl, new Year.
Long hair, though still blowing smoke in the air.
A sixth and final rose, for your birthday.
Sappy little poems, can cement what I'm attempting to say.
I love you and that can't be taken away.
Your memory will never tarnish.
Blossoming everyday, In your honor.
I will always remain.

Happy birthday.
You quirky, funny, little redhead.
Wherever you may be.
You will always be my best friend.
I love you, mom.

That's very nice. I love roses. I'll bet your mother does too.
