Chapter (14) THE CLOCK

Chapter (14) THE CLOCK

A Chapter by MAD ENGLISHMAN

A Grand Father clock

Stood tall by a wall,

and inside lived a mouse

who was really quite small.

He ate bits of cheese,

which he found on the floor,

and nibbled dog buscuits

from a bowl by the door.

He would stand on his head

for hours on end,

because, all the chiming you see

Had sent him,

right round the bend.

I try to bring a little humor into an otherwise depressing world. So pleased you liked it.
