Chapter (23) THE MOUSE IN THE CLOCK

Chapter (23) THE MOUSE IN THE CLOCK

A Chapter by MAD ENGLISHMAN

                 THE MOUSE IN THE CLOCK

                          A Grand Father clock

                          Stood tall by a wall,

                           And inside lived a mouse,

                          Who was really quite small.

                          He ate bits of cheese,

that he found on the floor,

                          And nibbled dog biscuits,

from a bowl by the door.

He would stand on his head,

                          For hours on end,

Because all the chiming you see,

                          Had sent him

                          Right round the bend.
