Phantasm In Below 20 Degree Thread Count

A Poem by JelliFyshKissUs
"

"I see shed people"

"
Photobucket

I wake

Embalmed

In poltergeist skin

Shed in bed

And removed by your soul

To cover the shiver

Of a bitter sorrow

That quivers of today as the first tomorrow

A cold

Which holds

What was lost in the frost

As I toss in your snow

And you sleep

In her warmth

With a flame that lingers

To chase away guilt frostbitten in fingers

A skim

Of which

Congeals on my thigh

Along with the brume

Of a fogged “goodbye”

And I quail

At the touch

Of what has molted from the start:

An apparition of body always absent of heart

firstly, love the picture. This is such a regal poem, if that makes any sense, I'm sure you get what i mean haha it just has a great classic and classy feel - the rhymes are just spot on and the meter and flow perfect - the words skip along - you've injected surrealism into it of course and the results are brilliant! SO glad to see you posting again, you're for sure one of my favourite writers!! hmm now some favourite lines... "As I toss in your snow
And you sleep in her warmth" and " And I quail At the touch Of what has molted from the start: An apparition of body always absent of heart" is just an incredible bow-out - loved it!

and how you shake them and respin them in the intricacies of your spirit's brocade~ you are beautiful as you skim your clear mind across a surface rime~mesmerizing words spin their own individual snow flakes from a red and gorgeous beating heart~ pain lets us know we are alive as much as love~

you create beauty with delicate fragile truths Shawn , verse in rhyme with silent tears , haunting words that shiver through the emotionally laced neural fly-ways of memories in presence of the ghost of not again , not now
