A Different World

A whimsical poem about a different world.

Oh subtle breeze take me away,
to a world I can not believe
a world where crazy is normal
and normal is obscene.

Where up is down
and lost is found
where right is wrong
where who I am
meets what you've done.

Where you eat books
and I read cheese
where thank you means please
where rhyming doesn't mean a thing

Where I can't stomach it means give me more
where bright sunny days mean cold desperate floors
where being blind means you can see
where being dead means you can breathe
where Death is dull means life is beautiful
where all I can see is being with you.

This was an enjoyable piece to read. I really enjoyed it. I have to agree with 'Pros before Hoes'. The stanzas really do contrast each other. Very interesting piece.

Seems like 1st and 3rd stanzas contrast 2nd and 4th. I found the last stanza was really what caught my attention.
