Hold your Own

Hold your Own

A Poem by Rachel

Oct 22 2019

You let them bring you up, just to knock you back down.
You get all excited, just to get your hopes up.
In the end you end up in tears and frown.
You are getting fed up with it all.
You still continue to be that doormat.
They take your sweetness for your weakness.
They break you,
You need to build yourself back up.
Stand up! Dont let them knock you back down.
Hold your own.
