Untitled for now

Untitled for now

A Poem by Koibito "Nickie" Kitsuya

I was invisible,
A wallflower,
A ghost,
Until you.
I let you in
And bared my soul
I gave myself to you
And you threw me away
I am missing
Missing Pieces,
Pieces of myself,
I am empty now
Starved of the affection
Affection I want in return
I am crawling on the ground
Hunting
Searching
For every piece you took of me

An unrequited love is the worst. You never really rebound from it, or the palpable pain that takes residency in your heart. So very well written, and such a pleasure to meet you!

You words are so sadly beautiful, 'Nickie' , you have shown the heart and richness of you as a human being who knows how to say what she thinks and feels. Is rarely easy to do that, takes courage and an enduring heart - even though a spirit doubts it. Love, dear lady..
