Love's frustration

Love's frustration

A Poem by Judy
"

Wrote this of my crush 6 years ago. I regularly see him with his lovely wife and beautiful son...sigh...

"
Love's frustration...

If ever there was a story
A story of us...
How would it begin
Star crossed lovers we would be

To consider our age difference
let alone the race we differently run
One would deem it impossible
As so they should

But as I look up, as you come
The breath...the freshness
The innocence..the willingness
I sense it...it overwhelms

My soul whelps, I pant...I long
But my 'Hi' does not let on
Again I look down, 1,2,3
I count your breath

I never look up to see
This young man mine he could be
As he walks away I stare
At his foot steps as he walks away...
