She's A Fighter

My sister is such a fighter. She is handicap and cant walk. Her life is a whole challenge... Nobody understands what she goes through.

My twin sister is a fighter
Her life is full of challenges
Nobody understands her
Nobody knows what she feels inside
She cant walk
Her muscles are too weak
Surgery never seems to help her
She sits in her wheelchair everyday
Feeling almost hopeless
What else can she do
Kids are always making fun of her
I try so hard to shut them up
But they just dont listen to me
They dont care
They just dont care
And it hurts me
Knowing that I'll never be able to see her like me
She wont ever be able to walk
Never be able to hang out with her friends by herself
Not ever being able to go the bathroom without someone being there to help her
Its hard to watch her struggle through life
God never giving her a break
She is always telling me that she wants to have her own family one day
I simply tell her that she will one day
But I know it wont...
My twin sister is a dreamer
She dreams of walking someday
And being just like everybody else
I know my sister better than anyone else
And not just because I am her twin
But because I listen to her
And I know my sister is so strong
And she fights what she wants

I dont care about grammar...or flow. I just wanted to write something about my sister. She is so strong. She has had more operations on her body...and other one soon. I just needed to write about her to show I care and were about my twin sister

This is a wonderful piece. I love the line "My twin sister is a dreamer". You've written another raw emotion piece -- a lot of those lately. This one is yet again, well done and well written. You say you don't care about grammar but this piece really does not have many problems at all.
It is hard to listen to people be rude and disrespectful -- and outright hateful. They are ignorant and they do not understand. Hopefully, one day, people will.

Wow. This really shows a lot of love. It seems like life has been hard for most of the people in your family, yet you stay strong through this. I really liked this poem.
