Love Waits For You

Love Waits For You

A Poem by Manda
"

She is so in love. She doesnt even know what to do with herself when she is gone. Life is just full of things about him!

"
I wait for you
Each and every
Lonely night
Waiting for you
To return

I cant bare
To be apart
Any longer

I cannot hold back
For my love for you
Is much too strong

My world
Surrounded by you
Our beautiful memories
And our long lasting love
For one another

I cant even
Begin to describe
How much
You mean to me

Each and every night
I miss you
And long for you
To come home

Its just been
To damn long
And I cannot bare it
Any longer

I am sick of waiting
And crying
Myself to sleep

Sick of not
Being able to live
Life to its fullest
Because I cannot get you
Off my mind

How can I ever
Try to love
Another man
When your my world

Ever since
We said our
Last goodbyes
I've cried

You were
My love
And the one
I longed for

The one I wished
To be with
Forever
And ever

You were
My first
And now
My last

I never
Had given
My heart up
Until now

I cannot let go
For you are
My heaven on Earth
And the Love
Of my life

This is why
I shall wait
Till the ends of the Earth
For you

You are
The world I live in
The air I breath
And the man I love

And so I shall keep waiting
Each and every
Lonely night
Until you to return home

Author's Note

Manda
Ok so I wrote this after I had watched "Shakespeare in Love." I became crazy and realized finally who I wanted most. Who I wanted to love! I dont know if this makes sense, honestly I dont, but thats ok. I do hope you enjoy this and if not I am sorry. Please feel free to give me any advice! I would be happy to make this better! Thanks!

Shakespeare in Love, such a romantic movie. This poem somehow reminds me of a wife waiting for her husband to come back home from war. Waiting is always such a difficult thing to do. Nice poem.:)

Poem is beautiful. Nothing as bad as waiting for someone. Time goes slow and the desire increases with each moment. A excellent poem. I like the feel and the story in this poem.

I love that movie!
And this reminded me of it even before I read your note.
It's slow moving, like a thought process. And it concludes gently. As though it really doesn't want to end. Sort of like the love between Will and Viola.
Really beautiful piece!

A bit longer than i have come to expect from you. And once again, minor mistakes can be found here and there throughout the piece (such as the use of "bare" [to expose] instead of "bear" [to endure] in the second stanza). The sizing of your stanzas follow no discernible pattern, making this a distracting piece to read. All that being said, however, I must admit that I did enjoy this piece. Well done!!

Don't be silly, this makes perfect sense! SO Much perfect sense that I think I've made my mind up about quite a few things :)
"I am sick of waiting
And crying
Myself to sleep "
