Indiana

A Poem by NyanMeow
"

Leaving behind a city and a life

"

A building is not a face

And yet every one in this town

Serves as an encapsulated memory

A life is not small

And yet here I walk in a bottle

Seeing but not touching

A decade is not forever

And yet the transience of time

Exists like an overwhelming shadow

A tomorrow is not promised

And yet I have lived for it

Waiting for the rise of a sun

A past is not final

And so I will surpass this

Welcoming the mysterious unknown
