The Darkness of Love

The effects of love and loss of love.

Every life is precious

No one is invaluable

Or anything less

Because we are all able.

Everybody can be anything

That they want to be

If they work for everything

To finish as necessary

My intelligence may be low

And yours may be very high

So I will just have to show

You that I can pass, Why?

I am just as good as the next boy

He may have different skills than

I do but I will fight like Troy

And never run off to Iran.

Running from problems is stupid

Almost like falling in love

And thinking that my special act was working, Cupid

Please give me my white dove!

The pain is surreal

Because it seems like nothing can be mine

It is the first thing that hurts for real

Because I watch her as she grinds

On the guy I thought she

Would never like

But everything comes with a price

And now I am the one taking a hike

I will let her go

Because I want what’s best for her

But if she is going to make it a big show

Then I will leave for sure
