Natures Cycle

Natures Cycle

A Poem by Jimmy Glenn
"

Nature and its lovely cycles.

"

The trees grow green

The weeds grow yellow

The grass grows lean

And the world stays mellow

The deer drinks from a lake

The fox builds a den

Near the shore bank

Afraid of nothing, then

A rival shows his pelt

Around his little home

And the pain is felt

As he lays prone

Food is scarce

And the fight is for life.

Because it’s so fierce

The den lives in strife.

When nature meets nurture

The world fights for number one

Leaving some animals no future,

Leaving their family stunned.

But to every disgusting fact

Their is a beautiful case

Of nature making a pact

To end the death race.

For every death

There is a flower

For those who take the last breath

Dying with no power.
