Vorarephilia

A Poem by Slug
"

based on the infamous case of Armin Miewes, the Rotenburg Cannibal. beauty in the darkest places.

"

A Romantic dinner by
                                    Candlelight

                    for this intimate moment

to savor the taste

      of such Luxurious Delicacies

            that come,

  Once in a lifetime

fried and served with a Glass of Wine

   A caress of the blade

        gently slices pieces of

              His Lover's   Embrace

                  His   Lover's         Kiss

           His   Lover's                  Gaze

    His   Lover's        Caress

                                  Forever keeping with    him

His        Lover

                     Forever

       His                           Lover

            Forever

     His             Delicacy

fried  and  served  with a  Glass  of    Wine

The perfect Orgasm comes  as

  A moment of pure   Bliss

            when Two Souls

    yearn,   to be     loved

            to be    free

                          to be  cut into  pieces

   and stuffed in a freezer

it definitely has an effect of its own. The silence in between vowels and consonants is as important.. read more

thanks for the review! (:
Wow I have so many different things that I got from this poem: it can literally be speaking about the couple enjoying a fine dinner together somewhere (except for the part about being stuffed away and frozen), it could be a hidden meaning of making love and then after such passion, the two move on with their lives and forget about each other as if what they had was "just like any other person they've been with" (being stuffed and frozen In the freezer) away from their memories and present lives, or it can be the beautiful moment of when love is so rich and full that it fills each person so much that they stay together and enjoy each other until the end and no matter the consequences (being stuffed and frozen together in a freezer) and being okay with it.
You may not have even thought that any of this is what someone would receive when finishing reading your poem, and that's totally fine, but it was so creative and wonderful that I personally couldn't just read it and have one single conclusion drawn.
Great write.

To be frank, it isn't the kind of poetry I'd have gone after. I would have much rather sat in the existence of a woman dining with (on) her husband and making unrequited love.
Very fine poetry, although not my taste. Good job.
