Such truthful wisdom in your short senryu, Miss Marlette. The heart makes a fool of us all the time. The irony is, we know this, yet still subject ourselves to such folly. I suppose one of those innumerable golden eggs will eventually turn out to be truly golden. Your senryu speaks extremely well in regards to one of the stronger quirks of the human condition.
