The Rain and Teardrops Fall

The Rain and Teardrops Fall

A Poem by Samuel Price
"

Something i wrote a little bit ago.

"

The rain falls hard and fast, just like the day when you left us. It mixes with the tears that are running down my face. I walk though a maze of broken hearts and short lives until I come to you. It's been a year now. I can still feel the pain but it's not as strong as it was at first. I've been trying to get over you, but I can't. You mean so much to me and I can't let you go so easily.

And people are all around me, but the only one I want is you. People are always talking to me, but all I want is to hear you're voice. And I find me asking myself every day, Why did you have to go without a goodbye? Like raindrops tears fall down my face.

Your writing is technically correct, but there's really not much substance here, and the brevity really doesn't help.
