HELLRAISER

HELLRAISER

A Poem by Mark Alexander Boehm
"

Religion? Pass. Big government? Pass. Chastity? Pass.

"
When the devil offers freedom
And God presents you chains
Will you choose a life of sin
Or use a bible to
Bash in your brains
Are these blood or wine stains
Some say they're one in the same
Don't save a glass for me
Threats of a Last Supper
Before damnation
Won't change what I see
I'm a lover of men
You can't shame me
I'm Satan's wild card
Don't try to tame me
Devil praiser stirring trouble where the saints meet
Hell raiser stirring up ecstasy in the sheets
Got some man in a tie telling me how to spend
Got some man in the sky telling me where to go when my life ends
Fortunately for me I've developed a skill
Insubordination until I die
Try to govern me with an iron fist
I'll forge your name on the reaper's list
