COME FLY WITH ME

COME FLY WITH ME

A Poem by Dave

COME FLY WITH ME

                                COME FLY WITH ME

Come fly with me, come fly with me where skies are always blue

where the clouds are nothing more than cotton candy, soft as you.

Birds, oh my, they fill the air, their joyful songs are everywhere.

Far below, the river looks as a stream, and we're together, as in a dream.

Mountains so high, no fear of them as together we float on by,

no ocean storm do we see, it's as smooth as glass, for you and me.

Come fly with me, can't you see, the world is there, for you and me.

I kept thinking of that old romantic crooner Frank Sinatra as I read your delightful poem Dave. I loved your spaced out layout, it certainly gave the feeling of movement. I also love the way you have introduced strong imagery of the natural environment into your lines. Nicely done.
