Evening Rain

Evening Rain

A Poem by Maroon Surreal
"

Describing.

"

The little raindrops

Hitting the roof,

I am hearing from the ceiling,

Gives the evening

A cold breeze

And an inviting blue feeling.

On odd melancholy, somewhat reflective mood overtakes me. Calm. Glad to be in, hearing nature's white noise. Well worded.

The title attracted me. This poem is short and sweet. I love the "inviting blue feeling". What a great description!

You explain the dropping of the soul's emotion during the evening when rain descends from the sky in an excellent way. There's so many thoughts behind such few words in this piece. Simply put, a short but amazing poem.
