Wet Love

Wet Love

A Poem by burnhouse

You bathed in the moonlight
I was showered with your perfection

We were swimming away from our fears
The soft feeling of your skin was dripping down my fingers
in the lake made of my tears

The ocean kept the color of your eyes
never caring if we changed our ways

I agree with Poppy Ruth Silver, this piece was so tender and very lovely ^^ I love the title, it's very creative :) I also love the sentiments behind this poem, how sometimes love can heal us in ways nothing else can. The emotion wells out of this poem like a tidal wave,
wonderful read Mary! keep writing

Thanks, means a lot.
I loved these lines:
"We were swimming away from our fears
The soft feeling of your skin was dripping down my fingers"
Creating a scene of intimacy and the overall atmosphere of the poem flows softly.
I love this and look forward to reading more of your work.
