TRUE LOVE IS KNOWN

 

 

true love is known

by unspoken but implied words

lovely felt daily

when the challenges of routine

takes us away from the track

 

suddenly that breath of love comes

in the always understood look

in muffled chuckles

in the small details of a house decoration

in soft sheets, in whispered prayers, in the goodnight kiss

 

true love is known

when trust settles lastingly

with no bursts of doubt

but the inner assurance of each gesture

in a constant pursuit of happiness

 

love is fully shown

with food on the table, the caring preparation

wine glasses toasting and tasting

in savoring our dessert in front of the lake

in the loving and serene looks, full of confidence

 

true love is known

when he escort us everywhere

and even when we are apart

it’s shown like a warm blanket

that covers our soul and warms our senses
