The Answer

                     William Shakespeare,

                        that smart sum-a-b***h;

                        The American Idol

                        of Elizabethan Theatre.



                        There wasn’t even

                        an Elizabethan Theatre

                        until Willy and

                        Lord Chamberlain’s Men

                        put a brand on it.


                        The “Shake” ignited a

                        building boom

                        in vainglorious roundhouses,

                        he did.


                        And what he’s done

                        for the art of

                        for historical speculation?




                        “To be or not to be "

                        that is the question:”


                        That being the question,

                        the answer is simply -

This poem is funny as well. A humorous poem to honor one of the greatest writers of all time, if not the greatest. Well done, another one fun to read.
