The Good Path

The Good Path

A Poem by McKenzie J Chatterton

COPYRIGHT 2017 MCKENZIE CHATTERTON (KNZJCREATIONS) DO NOT STEAL OR TAKE MY WORK This poem is about the spiritual journey to the good path

Tread lightly upon your path

Walk with the whispers of your ancestors

Take each step with care and purpose

Steady, like a heartbeat drum

Mother earths energy seeping into your soles, your soul

The wind encompassing your body in a warm embrace

Leading you along the good path

Reaching to the sky

Fingertips touch endless possibilities above

The good path

Where spirits intertwine

With the pure intention of nature

Where your mind can put at bay

The remnants of the bad way
