Mornings Like This

Mornings Like This

A Poem by Tamika Finley

Awake to Wiz Khalifa's voice.
Would love to roll a joint.
Allow my mind to float freely.
I just want to feel free.
Old days where I would roll up some OG Kush or Purple Haze.
Find myself walking to the park, looking at the streets through a daze.
Mornings like this is all the mornings I seek.
The herb helps expose me to me, so I guess that it's just me I seek.
I fell in love with the me that I would begin to see.
The old me, I guess, I just miss.
Mornings like this, I guess, I just miss.
