Wide Open

Wide Open

A Poem by Tamika Finley

You left me wide open.
Grasping to breathe your air.
Secretly hating you while seeking your coverage.

Since you said you wouldn't, and still left me bare.

The thought of "wide open" came to me last night but I was too lazy to get out of bed, so I forgot what would have been the original lines.
