Unfolding

Wondrous and delicious...

I am under the Tuscan sun with you, realizing you are an olive tree
Bearing and bringing me
Delectable, constructive
And tender fruits of seeds I planted.

I am under the morning stars with you,
Sleeping nude with the windows cracked
Early in the month of lovers.

I remember how last year around Christmas,
Or maybe Thanksgiving,
A friend of mine who sees
Said my grandmother
And family on The Other Side
Were sending me someone.

I thought and said,
“You mean now?
Now that the want may be gone?”

You are someone.

I don’t say as much as I feel.

I hope you sense me showing you
Demonstrably,
And by letting you see me
As I unfold and just be
And thereby let you in.

We shine our lights
And amplify.

You are luscious lucid pools
Of nonrestrictive force
In which I may bask, bathe, shine...
You show me I am
Divine
By being
Divine.

You are Warrior,
And I am your shrine.

I light a candle
And pen this for you
Before the biscuit making.
