Changes

Going through a process of healing and moving on towards new things. So changes are coming about and am trying to discern good vs good.

A year has gone by.

Much has happened ever since.

Some good, some not so good.

Life never stops. Keeps on going.

Choices have come and gone.

People have moved around and some

have just dissappeared.

Changes have come and more 

are on the way.

Am facing a new crossroads, trying to figure out,

what to do, where to go, and how to achieve

my latest goals.

So far, some doors have been closed, and others are opening.

My patience is waning, yet, I know not to rush.

So am trying to take it all, one step at a time.

My faith, has faltered at times, yet in the end,

I know I cannot move onward, without His helping Hand.

And I will never be perfect, but the gifts that I have been given,

I will do my best to give it my all, and move on towards,

new beginnings, and new challenges,

in order to be of help, to others, and support,

those whom have been set aside, by society, and cultural differences.

So for now, my writing has been on a pause, but that does not 

mean, that my passion has ended.

Its barely beginning.

The best part of your poem is the way it starts out a little frenzied, as if you're discombobulated by the changes, then gradually your tone becomes more certain, as if you're overcoming uncertain feelings & gaining the confidence to jump in & embrace this process! This is a great lesson for those who are deathly afraid of change & who can be paralyzed by it. This is a great way to show others how you have to allow the uncertain feelings to crop up & then slowly dissipate, that's how you get thru it. Excellent way to show instead of tell!
