The Fuzz

The Fuzz

A Poem by Meek McGee
"

Dandelions never try to try; they just go where the wind blows

"

I was on the brink of sleep when a

Dandelion opened my window.

It rested near the foot of my

Bed.

I saw seeds

Protruding from

Fluff corners. He

Was tired.

I was tired.

We were tired.

We shared the bed.

Have you ever seen flowers

Fly?

Fluorescent trails of light

Follow them.

Stem your surprise

Close your eyes

Picture love:

Cry

The dandelion arose without thanks.

He caressed his fuzz; His seeds were away.

Did my heart always feel this

way?

Place

Love

Under

My

Mirror.

Earnestly

Trying,

I

Never

Go

Dandelions never try to try;

They just go where the wind blows

The wind blows.

About
I love writing poetry, and thought that maybe this would be the place to get into it again. I really enjoy music, anime, and books. Especially anything that has a hint of wonder of fantasy to it. F.. more..
