The 27 ClubA Poem by MicaFor anyone who doesn't know, the 27 Club is a reference to the fact that there are many famous musicians who have passed on at the age of 27. This is sort of about them, and a tribute to them as well. You were far too young to die,
your story not yet written. Now we live in the "what if?", and dream of what might have been. Your whole life was left to live, you had just gotten started. A legend before your time, the world stopped when your heart did. But while your loss is painful, I think everyone agrees, that you took life for granted, because you just couldn't quite see, the impact you were leaving, and the dreams you were making, thinking your life was just you, and was yours for the taking. Well the mark you left runs deep, telling a tale so tragic, of a man who wasted life, the outcome is too classic. So rest in peace dear loved ones, we miss you every day, and hope that maybe some time, a gift like yours just might stay. © 2011 MicaAuthor's Note
