The Miracled Veil

The Miracled Veil

A Poem by Seshat Nidaba

I used to hope I would be one whom God would notice

But since then, nature has taught me humility

I walk a chiselled suffering source of compassion

My ills have turned me insight(inside) out

Until all that I am is a, brief empathy

A lucky drop of good-will that asks for nothing

The laws of my night are slowly fading

I attract a new sort of experience now

That sustains the vague feelings, hard facts

Lovely souls that I bring close to me via vibration

I used to need a sense of conceptual divinity

But since then, I’ve ached with surrender

And when I talk, it is only to reach out

My profound alienation has given me the long chill

Until all that I am is an, attempt at identification

Imperfect, resilient, salient, full of immobile trust

The listening Tao of a billion lives.
