Pale Though Her Eyes

Pale though her eyes,
her lips are scarlet
from drinking of blood,
this child, this harlot
 

born of the night
and her heart, of darkness,
evil incarnate
to dance so reckless,
 

dreaming of blood,
her fangs--white--baring,
revealing her lust,
and her eyes, pale, staring ...

Yes, she might extract her vengeance in blood!
A portrait of voraciousness, this one reveals evil quite starkly. I would say you don't want to get on this lady's bad side, but that's probably the only one she has.
