The Lie

Funny little thing I wrote in highschool...inspired by a magnet.

"I cannot tell a lie"

said the dog to his master.

 

"I tried by and by,

to prevent the disaster."

 

"I cannot tell a lie

for it wouldn't seem fit."

 

"So I will not deny,

that the cat did it!"

How exactly did a magnet inspire that? Well, I really don't care.

That is a priceless poem. I love it so much. My friend (she's a blonde!) and I absoulty loved it. We will always be quoting it. Somehow it's a symbol of our friendship. It's so weird. Amd above average. Average on this site is phenominal.
