Bones

Bones

A Poem by Mike Emil

By Mike Emil

Cadavers of poultry

Sinkers that couldn’t swim

Fat bulbous birds

That did not at all win

Sunken in gravy

Lots of giblet ships

Glory and massacre

That’s what this holiday’s for

Let’s go kill some ingins

And turkeys some more

ARRGH!!!!

HAI!!!

Them bones them bones

Them turkey bones

Them bones them bones them turkey bones!!!

Turkeys torn right open!!!

Turkey bones everywhere

You people eat like pigs

Gnawing the bones too

What is wrong with YOU???

Clean off your plates

Before YOU stick them

In the sink

Listen or I will best YOU!!!

Look at them bones

You pulled out the marrow

Where’s the plate of cranberry sauce

Did YOU eat the damn plate too???

Damn people

No manners

Stealing my forks

But YOU leave me the bones???

What is wrong with YOU?

The pumpkin pie burned

There’s no saving it

Tough for YOU!!!

Take these bones with YOU

Scraps for the dog

Maybe YOU will kill him

Because YOU were to fat and lazy to feed him properly!!!
