Awe

Awe

A Poem by Mike Wolfe
"

Look around you. See the wonder of God's creation. They are shadows of his glory. His majesty. And his Love.

"

The waves crash the shore,

Stars light up the night,

Clouds graze highest heights,

In awe of you I want more,

To see heaven wrapped in light.

Beauty of sun rise,

The warmth of embrace,

The wonder of space,

To hear a baby’s first cries

Are reminders of your grace.

The rocks will cry out,

The whole earth will shake,

To praise what you make

And now all heaven will shout,

In the presence of Love’s wake.

You are amazing,

Mercy rescues me

I am now set free.

I can see your love blazing,

Your grace brings me to my knees.

I love you Jehovah

I enjoied the deep nature of this poem. A lot of emotion came through for me as I read it. The third verse captured my attention, and to have grace in ones life is a gift of the divine eternal realms, in my opinion. Thank you for writing this beautiful poem.
