My Darling Baby Girl

My Darling Baby Girl

A Poem by Millie
"

. . .

"

Stay calm, breathe slow

My little darling girl

Don't leave me now,

Don't go.

Sweet child hear me now

Mummy's here, I'm not going anywhere

As the colour fades

From you sweet face

I begin to miss you tears

And constance screams

My darling please don't don't go

If you leave me,

Please know but one thing

I love you baby girl

More than anything

As I rest you down,

Let others say their goodbyes

I miss you baby girl

More than anything

Mummy's here, I'm not going anywhere.

My darling baby girl

I like the juxtaposition of this piece, comparing something so fragile as a baby to the darkness of death, stunning mills

I'm worried that I may have interrupted this wrong, but I feel this is a very dark piece. It is beautiful in very dark ways and it drew me in.
