Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by Mirabella

Sometimes I feel like a tiny bird

Trapped in a tiny cage

Singing to the tune that others like

Never getting to fly freely

I sing and sing and sing

Never good enough

Just keep on singing

At night I dream about flying

Out of this cage

Into the sky

I dance between the clouds

Sing my own tune

Live my way

But I am not free

So I’ll keep on singing

Until the day I can sing no more.

Beautiful flow of ink. The imagery you present is soft and warm, sticking with the mind as the eyes read the words. The piece offers a mix of sorrow with hope and joy. Overall a wonderful poem to read. Nice Ink!
