Bonsai

Bonsai

A Poem by MiriamMB

I am

the bonsai

sticking stupidly

out of a hill of dry

burning, desert sand,

waiting for the rains to come,

the rains won't come,

but you should see my roses

when my head splinters and splits crimson,

you can see my fire from miles away.

This is a nice short piece of writing. Liked the way you expressed the thought. Wonderful flow as well.
