As you look at me do you understand me?

Do you understand how I think?

Or why I look like I do?

Do you know why you see the pain in my eyes?

Or why I can’t sleep at night?

 

Take a guess, and let me know

You never know when I might just go

So take another look

Peak a little closer

See the pain

See the scars

See the recklessness

See the survival

See the determination

 

Don’t cry

Don’t care for the worthless

Don’t pity the already done

Don’t hurt

It doesn’t bother me none
