Where is your home?

A poem that should be expressed to every one.

Where is your home?
Is it London or France?
Maybe it's America, perhaps Japan.
We all have a civil duty, to protect our home.
 But most have the misinterpretation that we own our home alone.
 Your home isn't a country, or a house alone.
 It's beneath the foundation, the bricks, and the stone.
Stop looking at the pavement. Start looking at the grass.
Look at what nurtures life. Now please nurture it back.
The planet Earth is your home.

I wrote this in five minutes. It all just came flowing from my head. I hope you enjoyed it.

Wonderful despite any amount of time required. It seems to blend and transition perfectly.

Of course I am from the states, but do everything I can to protect our world, which is a must. Things like over hunting, illegal dumping, and waste and littering really do bother me. I'm a borderline vegatarian, trying my best to avoid eating meat. I use reusable grocery bags, recylce, and dispose of batteries properly.

Transitions have always been very important to me. With bad transitional phrases- the emotion held in the poem can fade.
