-Invisible Bridges-

-Invisible Bridges-

A Poem by Cove Mitchell

My hands feel weak.
I have witnessed destruction in all it's glory.
The air seems to dance around me brushing gently at my neck and arms.
This Invisible silk is as soft as the attire of angels.
Contemplation leads to empty hallways with no end.
So I take a seat and sleep to escape.
Wondering off in my alternate existence.
Seeking to find the bridge between the two.
Hoping that it is big enough to bring it all back with me when I wake.

finding the bridge between one of your existences and your "alternative" existence must be quite exhausting.
goodluck.

i like this, especially the image of contemplation being endless hallways, etc. how it opens this endless expanse, makes us a little crazy, and sometimes the only thing we can do is sleep and hope that the morning has put some of the pieces together. nicely done. succinct.
