I chose him

I wrote this poem last night after a moment with my boyfriend.

 

When I look at him,

I see the man I can never leave.

In his eyes,

I can see only love.

When I feel his teeth on my neck,

I know its love not hurt.

When I feel his arms around me,

I know I’m safe.

When I hear his voice,

I hear only him, all others are drown out.

When I see my sister however,

I see pain.

I see a rose that’s all thorns.

Which would you choose?

I chose him.
