You say you want to change. But that you don't need Jesus.

 

To this I -sigh-
For it was for this very purpose, Jesus came and was crucified

 

You say that you can do it on your own? I wanna know?  how is that going for you?

You say you can change by yourself, just you, but yet their are years of evidence, that prove we are perpetually un able to

 

YES we are perpetual sinners.

 

We dont need to be taught how to lie, you know exactly what to do when the spotlight is on you, but you turn around and say, "NO! it was that guy!"

 

Your not going down alone are you?

 

Such a rebel !
But you see that's the natural being of the devil

He knows hes been a liar

 

And one from the the begining
and he will try everything and anything to make you keep on sining

 

You see he knows the word of God,

 

and he knows it well
thats why he tried to use it to provoke Jesus on his 40 days and 40 night fast, does that ring a bell?

 

The devil knows the end of the story,

 

he knows his future situation
He's your alcoholic friends,your drug, your sexual fornication

He's the late night text

 

waiting for you to text back and say come,
but he never tells you- Hey, it' me Satan

 

No, he comes in all types of disguises,

 

and when the devil sees your grasp on god has gotten stronger
his anxiety level rises

 

He grows impatient

for he knows what it says in the book of Revelation

In chapter 20 verse 10 "The devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone"
He has nothing else to live for!!

 

So he never sleeps, and strives to decieve,

 

trying to gather as many followers, including you and me
But God has warned us in his word !!

 

So don't be fooled for time is ticking and God's eyes are on record.

 

I know of many lives that are wasting, because they give in to their temptation

Not realizing how urgently god is wating, for us to say I rebuke you satan !!

 

I am God's unique creation,

 

I will no longer listen to your allegations
For Jesus came so that I may be free of all thy accusations

 

Jesus died so that I may live,

 

for without him we live in sin
Though we didnt deserve it, he gracefully acomplished
on that crossed as he was pinned

 

it was finished all on that day,

 

when the earth shook and began to quake
we no longer have to rely on our selfs for his sake
recieve his free pass to skip that lake

fall into the arms of grace,

 

let mercy have it's place
let his joy be upon your face
For by faith, you can be saved
