Drowning

I feel like I’m drowning and constantly gasping for air, struggling to find my breath. I feel like I’m looking for something to grasp but nothing is there. I look further out while I’m sinking more and more, seeing no land to seek . Suddenly I just rise up and start drifting, the ocean taking me wherever it desires, controlling me, dragging me along with its tide. It’s peaceful for a while, this peace is interrupted by waves throwing me around, plummeting my body back, hard, into the rifts of the sea……… And then it’s calm again . 

And so it repeats.

Ah... Getting to this short poem only seconds after it was posted :)
A nice short poem about depression (based off reading the tags)

"I’m drowning and constantly gasping for air"
Constantly looking for something to fix your depression.
"It’s peaceful for a while, this peace is interrupted by waves throwing me around, plummeting my body back, hard, into the rifts of the sea... And then it’s calm again."
You find a place of peace but soon the depression flows right back over you and than, as if it never happened, your back at peace.

Just a quick review, I liked how you used the sea to describe it all considering the sea can be a dangerous but very peaceful place.
