Cloudy Eyes

Cloudy Eyes

A Poem by Moalix

When are the sunny days going to get here?
I keep looking out the window
and waiting at the door
for the sunny times
that I thought would have been here
long before now

When are the clouds
in my eyes ever going to stop
pouring on me when I least want them to?

I want clear days
cloudless skies
for I am sick of
the rain constantly
dripping out of the corners
of my ever-flowing clouds
