A Poem by Ana B.

Come, sweet Tenderness, and fold my satin dreams

That lay scattered on my bed of smoke

And gently wipe away my autumn tears

That my small memory unknowingly awoke.

Come, gentle Night, and help me cross your heights

With the moon as your palatine of lost whispers…

And shadows as your ghostly knights

And the dripping stars as your secluded sisters…

Come, beloved Longing, and help me suicide a smile

As I hold my hands against the sky.

It will get better, but it might take a while

Got so many doubts to crucify…

Come, dear Fondness, and help me find

A beautiful mess of words

That will tame this heart so wild

That’s chasing after mythical rewards…

Come, darling Peace, and teach me how to swim

In this sea of love so false…

Maybe I will escape this orb so grim

But oh, this sea doesn’t want to show the shores.

This is a superb poem that's hitting on all cylinders. The rhyme & rhythm are spot-on & sophisticated with lofty word choices that flow well & convey your meaning lyrically, which goes well with your art & music choices. I most love how each stanza is devoted to a value and these values are some of my favorites in life. The third stanza is brilliant in every word, so creative, so brilliant & fresh sounding. Simply amazing! (((HUGS))

I have to turn my own music off once again to read, and I am never let-down... Suicidal smiles, oceans of mythical rewards... Crucify the ghosts of unholy knights, at night my doubts shine... This echoed with haunting prose... Absolutely gorgeous... Your way with words is indeed musically inclined and inspired... Breathtakingly penned...

' Come, gentle Night, and help me cross your heights ~~ With the moon as your palatine of lost whispers… '

This has so much finesse, both in style and content, tis hard to focus on one or other. So, Ana, just have to say - your mind must be both beautiful and loving to lay words in such a glorious way. Truly.
