Bluesy musings

Bluesy musings

A Poem by Ana B.
"

inspired by the music in the description

"

Sweet tenderness, effortlessly,

You made the world beautiful

                 Once again…

While I was chasing needlessly,

                                    with my heart immovable,

For some invented remedy against the pain.

That pain grew such long roots

That I forgot the source...

Got lost in such convoluted pursuits

When there was no hint of the right course.

Countless warm shadows cover this world now,

This world - a crossroads for lost souls…

Souls that have forgotten their freedom somehow,

Yet they keep playing their roles, filled with holes.

                Are there holes?

so enjoyed the music .. title drew me in ... V2 is wonderful says i! .. so relatable and an aspect that floats around in the noodle, causes feelings but is never quite put into words .. but you have done it .. as you start with musings, so you close as well ...
"Countless warm shadows cover this world now,
This world - a crossroads for lost souls…"
thanks for sharing Ana!

Thank you Karmee :)
Your musings speak to me of how it often happens that, in a "couple" -- one will be the tougher one to be moved emotionally, whereas the other will be a sentimental softie. If not for the tenderness of the latter (as your poem begins with), some relationships would never survive (((HUGS)))
